Holland Conservation Commission
Minutes of Commission meeting held on October 30, 2007.
Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Patricia Caron, Howard Fife, Rolf Hilbig and James Wettlaufer. Absent: Steven Anderstrom.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. The minutes of October 23, 2007 were read and accepted and will be distributed.
7:10 p.m. Old Business: The hold on the drawdown will continue until further notice.
7:15 p.m. Jeff Frohn of 17 Leisure Dr, DEP File #184-0223 whose project to remove 3 decks and re-design 2 decks and a patio and refurbish the retaining wall questioned when his hearing would be held. It is scheduled for 11-13-2007 at 7:30 p.m.
7:30 p.m. The Public Hearing of a Notice of Intent for Adam Brote of Lot 5A Stafford Rd., Map 21-B-3.1, DEP File #184-0222 to construct a (SFH) single family house, driveway, septic, well and associated grading was presented by Mark Farrell of Green Hill Engineering. Present was Adam Brote. No abutters came. Our initial response was to ask for a variance to move the house forward and over closer to the road and away from Stevens Brook. We decided to continue the hearing and do a site visit which is scheduled for Friday, 11-2-2007 at 3:00 p.m. The continued Public Hearing is scheduled for 11-6-2007 at 7:30 p.m.
Mark Farrell gave us:
1) A copy of Roger Perry’s recorded Order of Conditions from the Hampden County Registry of Deeds for his project at 59 Island Rd. DEP File # 184-0220 to install a holding tank;
2) A check for $60.00 paying for Adam Brote’s Legal Ad.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
